Modern Landscape from Memory Box

I was a day late and a dollar short when Dave came out with the Country Landscape #98239 over the holidays. Everyone was using it and making amazing cards with it.

So you know how happy I was when Dave released Modern Landscape # 98257 in the new year. I ordered it right away!!

Swaying in the Wind

Happy Saturday Everyone!!

Wow am I glad it is the weekend. I was at work until 11:00 last night! A long day when you start at 6:30am.

This card reminds me of an early summer day with a soft warm breeze blowing the flowers here and there.

I used all Memory Box stamps. The twine is handmade. 

I think I will spend the rest of the day doing nothing!!

I hope your day is more productive then  mine will be.

Tulips for You

My class this time around isn't too bad, soooooo I am enjoying some quality stamping time. I am just stamping for me. Playing with some new stuff I got.

I love the new Hero Arts newsprint images. The tulips called to me. Playing off a technique i saw on the Penn Black blog, I stamped the flowers in distress brushed corduroy and colored them with copic markers. I kept it very simple. The bakers twine is handmade. See my posting on how to make the twine.

These would make great card sets for gifts.

Now back to stamping!!

Love for the kids

I wanted to share 2 Valentine cards I made for my grand niece and nephew. I find kid cards hard to make.

I hope they each like their cards, but I suspect it what Aunt Sue puts in the card that will be the hit!!

I had a kinda free weekend. I just finished a class and will start the next one this week, so that means not a lot of homework. I spent the weekend enjoying the snow and stamping. 

I always send Valentine's to my best buddies. The above card is for them.

All you need is love

I am looking for simple Valentine cards this year since I don't have a lot of time to work on them. I saw a similar card in my blogging travels and totally lifted it. Love the simple red and white color scheme.
