Wild Flowers from Memory Box

Memory Box's dies are becoming the go to dies and wow are they great. But this gal is a stamper and I was thrilled that Dave is still making stamps along with  dies.
I made a set of note cards using the new wildflower stamps just put out by Memory Box. I used whisper print leaf G1862, whisper print daisy G1863, whisper print geranium G1864 and whisper print wildflower E1865. Using a selection of my new Ranger distress markers, I colored each stamp, spritzed with some water and stamped on white linen card stock. I layered with matching scraps of Memory Box patterened card stock. Add a quick saying of your choice and you have a set of fun and colorful note cards.
Here are pictures of the individual cards.

Hope you enjoy these clean and simple cards. Be sure to check them out at your local stamp store or fav online paper crafts purveyor like Simon say Stamp.

Darcie Daze

The StampScrap Art tour came through our area in the last few weeks. I took the weekend off from school to hang with my good buddies and to go to the convention. While it is a small convention compared with Allentown, it does pack a punch.

As usual Darcie's stamps were one of the more frequented booths. I have to admit I bought quite a bit on Saturday and then dragged George back on Sunday to buy some more sets.

I definitely think the samples sell the sets. I love the way the images are stamped in brown and sponged with color.

I totally lifted these cards, but I thought they were fun and vibrant and totally a Darcie card!!

I hope you enjoy and be sure to check out Darcies!

Say it again Sam...

I just signed up for the next online card classes with Jennifer Maguire. It is called Stretch Your Stamps.

During the class you will learn how to stretch the use of your stamp so you can make a variety of cards using one stamp. The online classes always have something great to show you and I cannot wait for this one too. (I have taken all of them!!) If you missed a class, you can still sign up and you are given access to all the videos, instructions and samples. How cool is that!!!

In preparation for the next class I made 2 different cards using the sizzix/stamp set Silhouette Vines from Hero Arts.

The first card clearly has a fresh spring/summer look to it and the second has a fall feel. By just changing the colors and altering your technique, you can get 2 completely different cards!! I cannot wait to see what Jen and the gang have to show us!!
