Yay!! It's Tangle Tuesday!! today's tile is another one for Halloween. I just love these wee ghosties with their glowing green eyes.

Happy  Monday folks. I am writing this ahead of time because I am at the beach.

Today's musical inspiration is a surprise. Who knew that Total Eclipse of the Heart was actually about a vampire!!

Welcome to Fragment Friday from Bethany Beach in Delaware. I am spending the weekend visiting my brother and SIL. Despite lots of walks, cooking,reading, movies etc. etc. there is always sometime for tangling!

Today's fragment is K4. This is very similar to Y1. See this post. Very similar huh?

Happy Monday folks! Three weeks till Halloween. Time to get started on your cards Pumpkin!!! 

Today starts a new challenge at Inky Paws! We are looking for weener cards! So pull out those spooky Newton's Nook stamps, stencils, and dies and have some fun!

My card today uses my favorite die set from Newton's Nook- "Speech Bubbles". I die cut the big speech bubble and stenciled just the faces from the "Jack-o-Lantern" stencil set. From the same set, I stenciled just a row of the pumpkins. The sentiment is from Newton's Boo-tiful Night.

Sunny days for this Fragment Friday!! Today's fragment is U4.  My buddy Patty commented that it look like it took a long time to draw this and I have to say it did. I ended up spending a crazy amount of time on the shading and was still not really happy with it.

Tangle Tuesday

Welcome to Tangle Tuesday! Today tile is inspired by Sabrina Chu. I am calling this "Autumn Splendor".  I love how the Zig clean color markers blend on the Zentangle renaissance tiles. 

On a different note, I am excited to announce that two pieces of my Zentangle art will be on display at the Chester County Arts Association Members Exhibit. The opening reception is Thursday October 6, from 5-7pm. The Exhibit will be from 10/6-10/20.

 

Signs of Autumn

It's another dreary, cool, and rainy day here. Hey! I am OK with that.  We need the rain and I was so tired of the heat. It's a good day to hunker down and craft. AS much as I am enjoying the rain, my thoughts and prayers are with all those in Florida dealing with the effects of Ian.

It's the time of year, where you will see me crafting with kraft, paper that is. Something about kraft paper just makes me think of fall and Thanksgiving. Today's card features "Signs of Fall", Autumn paper pack, and the "Argyll" stencil. all from Newton's Nook.

The musical inspiration seems like an obvious choice for a wet rainy Monday.
