Thirty five years!

Today's card is for the dear husband. Thirty five years ago today it was hotter than blazes while I took my wedding vows!  I was married outside and the minister was 88 years. It was the wedding he performed.  I remember he called me Sarah through the whole service. Thank goodness the license had Susan on it or I would  have questioned whether I was really married!

Happy Memorial Day! Yipee!! It's the official start to the summer!!  But it is also the official graduation season. This year, my great niece is graduating from high school.

That is why the new challenge at Cupcake Inspirations was perfect. I can honestly say, I never have graduation cards in my stash. 

My card today uses really old stamps and even a wooden stamp- yep going old school with this card. So I am challenging you to pull out some old stamp sets that could use some inky love for your creation.

Well be careful what you wish for! From sprinter to the dog days of summer in one foul swoop! I am writing this blog early before the heat sets in. I am looking at my card and think some raindrops wouldn't be the worse idea. I guess we are never happy with what we got huh?!!?

After all the cold sprinter weather we have been having in the last week, I am praying for that perfect day. According to my weather app- today should be sunny and 65. One can only hope.

Time to celebrate

Morning all! Hope you all are doing well and are getting in some crafty time! I am writing this blog ahead of tine as I am spending some quality time at Bethany Beach Delaware celebrating my SIL's birthday. Not sure the weather will permit some sunbathing on the beach, but I know some good dinners will be in the mix!
