Balloon girl, two ways

I have been craving some cuteness. Something bright and cheerful. I pulled out my Darcie's Up, up and away stamp set and made both these cards. The first took hours of tinkering. I know for such a simple card, but that's my issue huh? The second I made in about 15 minutes after I thought about it for half the night.

At first I thought I liked the fist one better, but now I am not so sure. Hubby clearly liked the first one best. He thought it was more subtle. Well subtle certainly isn't my style.

I am submitting this to the CAS-ual Friday challenge.  The theme is things you see in the sky. Perfect huh?

Which one do you like? Any reason why?

Delightful card Sue! I like the stamped background better. Your darling girl image seems to pop a little more with her being the only dimensional element.

I LOVE the sky background with the clouds cut-out. That is so cool to use the negative image! Always so clever SueT. Now I'm hankering to get creative!!

Awww adorable image! Love the glitter added on the balloons and I can't decide if I like the cloud paper or the negative die cuts better, they are both so cute :) Thanks for playing this week at CAS-ual Fridays!

Oh so sweet and sparkling. They are both great...yet I prefer the first.
I think the negative cuts confused my eye, even though I think it's clever.

Sue, Balloon Girl is sooo sweet and I love the glitter on those balloons. The diecut cloud banner strip is so clever! Thanks so much for joining us at CAS-ual Fridays!
