Who doesn't like tags? They can be simple to miniature works of art. This week at Inky Paws we are asking you to make tags.Every year, I sell left over cards to folks at work. there is one person who is always looking for tags. So each year, I make a bunch of tags just for her.
I know there are going to be some very happy campers out there because some of you play along love to make tags. You know who you are and this challenge is for you!!!
All my tags today feature the new paper pad, "Meowy Christmas" and the tag die set both from Newton's Nook. All the elements are also from Newton's Nook. I will provide links in the description of each tag.
Tag 1 was the most time consuming, but for some one special it was worth putting in a bit more effort. The tag features "Poinsettia Blooms" and "Sentiments of the Season".
Tag 2, I embossed the background using this music stencil. Do you know how to use your stencils to emboss? It is a fun technique to stretch your stencils. The tag swag uses the "Pines and Holly" dies set.
Here is a quick video to dry emboss using your stencils.
Tag 3, is a bit more simple, just strips of paper from Meowy Christmas" and the image from "Purr-fect Present". Poor Newton looks kinda like a raccoon! Not my best coloring! LOL!!
Tag 4 is the easiest by far. Just strips of Meowy Christmas" paper and the sentiment added using the "Holiday Greetings" die set.
This will be our last challenge at Inky Paws for this year! So I hope you all play along and show us your tag creations! You have two weeks tom play along. We will chose a RANDOM entry to win a $20.00 Newton's Nook store gift certificate.
Our favorite entries from each challenge will be highlighted the
following Monday, so all entries have a chance to be featured on the
blog.
The deadline to enter today's challenge is Friday, December 17, 2021 at MN CST. The winners will be announced
on the following Monday at Inky Paws.
