I had so much fun with this card. It's creepy and whimsical at the same time. Is that an oxymoron? Creepy and whimsical? Maybe.
The new challenge at Cupcake Inspirations is very timely. Monsters and ghosts. I just noticed that my monsters look very much lie the monsters on the cupcakes!! LOL!!
My card for the challenge today features an unknown monster stamp set that someone gave me. Anyone have any idea? The blood splatters are from Studio Katia.
You have two weeks to get your spooky, creepy and fun on at Cupcake Inspirations "Ghosts and Monster" challenge.
Oh goodness!! It's September! The summer is over! I don't know about you, but my summer blew by. It was an awesome summer with lots of trips and fun times.
But it is time to get back to reality, before you know it, Christmas will be here.
The first of September means time for another challenge at The Rainbow Card Challenge. This month our featured color is brown. Brown... well it's no the most exciting of colors. But the leaves are changing the days are getting shorter so brown is kinda the perfect way to kick off September.
My card today is the perfect card for a guy, especially for one born in September. That's why this card will be going to my bro Bill. I am just loving this this set from Your Next Stamp. I have been using it time after time. See this post for another way I used it.
This month's musically inspiration is a no-brainer! Brown-eyed Girl by Van Morrison!!
Are you ready!! Did Van inspire you?!!?
Did I inspired you?
Be sure to head over to The Rainbow Card Challenge , see what the other DT members came up with and join the fun. You have all month to play in our "beautiful brown" challenge.
My husband and boss are rockers, guitarists, and total music lovers. I have been collecting lots of music related stamps and this set from Your Next Stamp is one of my go to sets.
I decided to spend some early morning time in my studio before the 94 degree heat set in and play along at AAA Cards, AAA Birthday and Addicted to CAS.
This card involved a bit of masking. Now this is something that normally I never do. It just seems like to much work. But I will tell you it was so worth it.
Happy May Day everyone!! Yay!! I think we can finally put winter behind us and enjoy spring and the summer to come. May means my anniversary to the big guy- 32 years this year! He loves music and I love green! So I had to put them together for an anniversary card.
That's why I was so happy the color this month at The Rainbow Card Challenge is green! The most beautiful color in the world.
I grabbed a bunch of music related stamps and went to town.
I even stamped the inside of the card, something I rarely do. I am usually scrambling to stamp a sentiment at the last minute. hey that's a good question. How many of you plan the inside of your card when you are creating it? Or are you like me- last minute Nellie.
Now for this month's musical inspiration- Simon and Garfunkle's Leaves that are Green.
Remember- the beauty of the monochromatic card is you can easily switch up the colors. this card can easily be done in any color of the rainbow.
Join us at The Rainbow Card Challenge for this best color ever challenge of green!! You have the month of May to create a gorgeous green cards!!
I am so happy my mojo is back. You can't get me out of my studio! Today's card was inspired by two challenges. Addicted to CAS has "monster" of a theme and Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers (a new challenge for me) ask us to watercolor!
Of all the "weeners" in the "Bootastic" stamp set, the mummy monster is my fav.
I have been trying to stamp the inside of my cards as I make them. I usually leave them blank and then I am at the eleventh hour quickly stamping a sentiment on the inside.
I took the time and stamp a fun "inside"
So beware, it's mischief night tonight! Just stay in and stamp!
