Dogwoods

There is something about the dogwoods blooming that just whispers spring is coming. The sun is shining bright, the air stills has a bit of a chill but you can smell the green growing. Do you know what I mean?
This is  a card I made for the Memory Box blog- Outside the Box. Please check out the posting for detailed instructions on how I made this card.

Springtime

I have been enjoying the beautiful spring weather this past week and mourning the end of my easy class. It is so hard to get back into the school mode.

I managed to get done 12 of the above cards as thank yous to my staff for doing a great job, before I sat down to write a three page paper on spatial comfort zones! All I know is that my comfort zone is sitting in front of my desk creating not writing papers!!

I have to let you know I saw a similar card on pinterest and loved it so much I had to try something similar. I love the bright cheery colors.

I hope you enjoy them also. The flowers and butterfly are from StampinUp Sweet Summer set. the saying is Hero Arts. (very old)

Happy Creating!

Think Green!!

St. Patrick's Day is a week away. It's one of my favorite days when you remember how much I love green!! So I have been taking time off from yet another paper to make some green cards!! The 2 above are variation on a theme. The happy card is for a co-worker whose birthday is on St. Patrick's day. Lucky her!!

Don't ask where I got the shamrock stamp, I have had it forever- I think it was from a dollar bin at one of those big box craft stores.
