I made so many Halloween cards, I thought I share one just because I can. You can love a trio of fun loving bats. Scary?!!? I think not!!!

I used an old set from Ellen Hutson-"Happy Haunting". This one of my favorite creepy stamp sets. You can use it in so many ways!

Here is the wee witchy Pixie getting into what ever she can. Her middle name is trouble maker!!

Who doesn't love a plaid! Especially a cozy plaid. Today starts a new challenge at Inky Paws. We want you to add a plaid! Plaids are so hot right now. You have plaid stamps, stencils, and even dies!

This wee witchy cat from Newton's Nook paired perfectly with the "plaid stencil" set from Newton's Nook.  Pretty sure this adorable and not the least bit scary card is going to my niece.

Come and cozy up with out plaid challenge at Inky Paws.  We will chose a RANDOM entry to win a $20.00 Newton's Nook store gift certificate. Our favorite entries from each challenge will be highlighted the following Monday, so all entries have a chance to be featured on the blog.

Boo to you

Soooooo....... from the scary to the cute. Last week for my Halloween card at Cupcake Inspirations, I wanted to "be afraid" Were you?  This week I want you to smile. I saw this card at Simon Says Stamp and used it as my inspiration.

You have one more week to get spooky creative at Cupcake Inspirations!

Today's card features the "hey ghoul" die from My Favorite  Things.  The original ghost die had a smile, but a hole puncher wiped that smile from my ghosties faces! The stencil is from Altenew.

Fall into fall

Ohhhhhh..... there is a chill in the air this morning that tells me fall might actually be here. I think I might be able to turn off the air conditioning tonight! There is a post going around FB these days that asks what season would you give up permanently. Normally i would say winter, but this past smmer was so brutally hot, I am not sure what I would say. I can say it wouldn't be fall.

Today is a reminder week that you have one more week to play along with our sketch challenge at Inky Paws.

I stepped away from Halloween cards today, to get started on my Thanksgiving cards. This set from Newton's Nook is one of my go-to sets for the holiday. I paired it with the "falling leaves" stencil from NN.

Get your crafting on and join our sketch challenge at Inky Paws.  We will chose a RANDOM entry to win a $20.00 Newton's Nook store gift certificate. Our favorite entries from each challenge will be highlighted the following Monday, so all entries have a chance to be featured on the blog.

Fang-tastic

Hey everyone! Happy Monday!  It's a happy day for me, just another day in my semi-retirement!

Halloween is fast approaching and I hope you all all getting your weener cards completed. I am finally done mine. I just have to stamp the inside sentiments. I never stamp the inside of my cards when I make them, consequently, I go to grab a card and I am at the last minute stamping the inside.  Are any of you like that? You guys are probably way more organized than me!!

Today starts a new challenge at Inky Paws.

We have a fun sketch this week. I turned the sketch on it's head for my card. You don't have to use the sketch as it is given, don't be afraid to turn it around.

Today's card features a new stamp set from Newton's Nook called "Count Newton" and the "flying bats stencil".

Come and join our sketch challenge at Inky Paws.  We will chose a RANDOM entry to win a $20.00 Newton's Nook store gift certificate. Our favorite entries from each challenge will be highlighted the following Monday, so all entries have a chance to be featured on the blog.

New job

It's week 2 at Cupcake Inspirations. We are having an "Anything Goes" challenge. Always a fan favorite and you guys have been up to the challenge. So many of you have joined the fun. There is still time to enter!

My card today was another card that I made for my boss, who resigned for a big promotion at a different health system. I was happy for him, but sad to see him leave.

This card might look complicated, but it really wasn't. I stamped a bunch of shamrocks all over a piece of card stock and colored them with copic markers. I then just die cut the word job. The rest is pretty self explanatory.

You all have one more week to decorate those naked cupcakes and show us your creations at Cupcake Inspirations.

Candy corn

I am a lifetime member of Weight Watchers, so this stamp set by Newton's Nook really me laugh. Any Weight Watcher is so going to get this sentiment.

This is our reminder week at Inky Paws. You have one more week to play along with our orange, brown, teal, and kraft color challenge.

The question becomes do you like candy corn? I think folks have a love hate relationship with it. Also, when you eat candy corn do eat each layer or do you just pop the whole thing in your mouth?

Where did candy corn come from? Here is a quick video on the history of candy corn.

Come and join our fall color challenge at Inky Paws.  We will chose a RANDOM entry to win a $20.00 Newton's Nook store gift certificate. Our favorite entries from each challenge will be highlighted the following Monday, so all entries have a chance to be featured on the blog.
The deadline to enter today's challenge is  Friday, October 8, 2021 at MN CST. The winners will be announced on the following Monday at Inky Paws.

Rock the 60's

Guitar cards! I love them. I have two guitarists in my life, my dear husband and the dear boss. This card was for my boss's birthday and I will be making a duplicate for the husband. The colors were researched, I was trying to find colors that signified the 60's, my husband's favorite era of music. These fun colors came up.

The 60's were "Mod Madness".
