The secret to a long marriage

You can always count on May and June being big months for anniversaries.

My 22nd anniversary was yesterday and several of my friends have had or will have their anniversaries. I have always heard that 50% of marriages end in divorce yet most couples I know have been married for at least 15 or more years. I think that is so amazing and wonderful. I always ask my patients who have been married for 50 years what the secret is. I hear all kinds of answers. I wonder what will I say when some young upstart asks me the same question in 28 years? Maybe by then I will know.......

Stuff

Good Evening Everyone!

It's so nice to realize you do not have to go to work in the morning! What all are you guys planning for the start to the 2009 summer?

I'm gonna be stamping tomorrow. Lots of projects and stuff to finish.

Thursday Jude and I spent the day stamping. I completed nothing of any import, but Judy made these really cool beads using fabric and UTEE. She brought some earrings and a necklace to work the day after and sold everything she made!!

Also not  to be outdone by Miss Pinkie, Lexi- Jude's dog wanted get her picture on the blog.

She sat at my feet nibbling on my toes while we were stamping!! She was so darn cute, she is the reason I got nothing done. I was to busy playing with her and taking her picture!

Have a great holiday folks!!

Casa Papel

Just wanted to let you all know about a great new paper store in Philly. It is called Casa Papel and it is at 804 N. 2nd Street. Parking is no problem, lots on the street and no meters.

They have all kinds of hand made paper and a super collection of cardstock. They even had some stamps for sale and are trying to promote classes. When Jude and I were there they were having an accordion fold book class.

The owner cecelia was very nice and is really trying to make a g of her buisness. Please go and check out this great store in our backyard.

More cards

Good Morning!!

What a rainy day huh? It is a good time to be in front of the puter with all of you. I have been incredibly busy at work and crafting. I am currently setting up another Endoscopy center on the Riddle Hospital campus plus running Bala still. Thank God I have my art to look forward to and to keep me sane.

Lots of stuff being created for Stampers Quest. I hope you all are checking in there on a regular basis. June is my debut month for the first projects I have created for them. The theme will be the Summer Solstice. I have some cool projects done. Stampers Quest is looking for "a few good people" to add to their design team. If you are interested go to Stamper's Quest and check out- call for new designers. It will require a commitment of time.

The cards I am showcasing today are all from the pieces I made in my Copic class at One Little Spark in Jersey. I took the samples I colored and made my own cards. I have to tell you, I am getting closer and closer to getting more copic markers. They truly are amazing.

Until next Sunday,  be well, be happy and be creative in all things!!

Let Them Eat Cake!!!!

Hello All!!

I took Judy out for her birthday today. We met at Starbucks and javanized ourselves and were off and over the bridge to Jersey to where else but .... One Little Spark. Judy hadn't been there yet and I was anxious for her to see it. Miss Pat was suppose to come but the swine flu at UDEL had her a bit preoccupied.

As usual both Pat and Lee her husband were waiting to greet us at the door. Judy shopped and got a demo on how to use the new score pal by Pat while Lee and were schoomzing in the store.

The Pat surprised Judy with a birthday cake, and Madelines. We all sat and enjoyed cake and conversation. Judy was totally touched by the thoughtfulness of Pat and Lee who she had JUST met. I guess the Philly foursomes rep is still OK.

Got some more cool stamps and I bought a scorepal. I gotta try some of the projects from the Scoreit web site.

More adventures followed but I will save them for another day.

Have a great weekend !!

PS Does anyone recognize Judy's gift and card?
