Traditions

Hi everyone! Two weeks until Thanksgiving. Thanksgivings is a very big deal in my family. My brother Cliff and his wife Sandi always host. They are very generous and tell everyone that is invited if they know any "orphans" (those folk with no place to go for the holiday) to bring them. Thus we always have around 30 people.

I go over to help cook for as many days before the big day as my work schedule allows. This year I have the week off. I will be over on Monday to cook for the week.

One tradition we have is that I always make pizza and Caesar salad and we have it with champagne on Wednesday night.

Another tradition is the signature cocktail. The Maple Leaf bourbon cocktail last year was a huge hit.

Today is a new challenge at Inky Paws. We are challenging you with a fun sketch.

My card uses a variety of pattern papers and goes against my "more white space" nature. It was fubn to pick out and coordinate the papers. My card uses one cute and whimsical image from the "Autumn mice " set from Newton's Nook.

You have the next two weeks to play along with our sketch challenge at Inky Paws! We will chose a RANDOM entry to win a $20.00 Newton's Nook store gift certificate. Our favorite entries from each challenge will be highlighted the following Monday, so all entries have a chance to be featured on the blog.

The deadline to enter today's challenge is this Friday, November 29, 2019 at MN CST. The winners will be announced on the following Monday at Inky Paws.

Hey Sue, this card does go against your "more white space" nature, but I like the way it turned out! Enjoy your Thanksgiving with your family and I wish I could be there for your Pizza and Ceasar salad traditional Wednesday because that pizza looks so yummy!
