For those you have been following my blog the last few days, you are probably thinking, I thought she was going to do her homework. To those I say, yes I did my homework. I finished what I could. I have to go over it with my group to make sure it is OK and then I will do the power point this weekend.
When I finished I went back to some of the challenges I wanted to play along with. Today's card is for the challenge site Muse. For some reason don't play along very often at Muse. I am intimidated by the challenges-don't ask why- I have no idea. But I really liked the inspiration card by Shona Chambers and ideas started forming.
Since spring holidays are on my mind, I went with an Easter card. When I was sorting and purging earlier this year I rediscovered a die set from Wplus9 that I never used. I grabbed it and the rest is history.
I had the card put together with out the striped strip and it looked just blah. Normally I like all the white space, but it just did not look at all right. I had set aside a pad of springtime paper to use over the next few months and I found the strip of yellow stripes. It add just the right touch to temper all that white space.
The saying is two separate stamps that just blended so well together. I hope you will check out the challenge at Muse and don't be intimidated like I was. I can't wait to see what others come up with.

Oh Sue, how fabulous I feel knowing I've inspired you for this gorgeous card. This has totally made my day! Your card is so sweet. Love those cute little chick dies (wish I found some die's I had forgotten about!!). Its funny how leaving lots of white on a card can make it more complicated to make. I think the strip of striped yellow/white paper is the perfect finishing touch and someone will be very pleased to receive this for Easter. Thank you so very much for joining me at Muse this week. And will keep an eye out for you in future challenges!!
Is this like getting your 'ducks in a row'? lol! I love your spring/Easter take on this week's Muse! So glad you joined us at Mus this week, Sue!
Love the little birds with hearts - such a cute card!
