Birthday fishes

I have been out of commission for the last several days, school, work and life just kinda took over. Soooo today, I had a wee bit of time on my hands and decided to play along with the new Male Room Challenge . The theme this week is "under water".  Naturally one thinks of the sea, fish etc.

I have to confess I went that route also, but alas I had very few "under water" type stamps. I had to think outside the box for this card.

The water is from Simon Says Stamp's Flower Friend Set and the fish dies are a very old Spellbinder die set. The saying is made from an unknown alphabet set that a friend of mine was getting rid of. The thing that makes me the happiest with this card are the bubbles- I hole punched them and simply used the white card base to make them pop.

I can't wait to see what others make. I am entering this in the DT call. Here's hoping.

This is super - lovely take on the theme. I really like the dimension and the die cut fish. Love the die cut bubbles and pun sentiment too. Thanks so much for playing along with The Male Room this week! Good luck with the DT Call.

I agree with Deborah - this is super! Like that you had to think outside the box ( a bit like me) that paper makes excellent water. The gold fish add colour and the bubbles and sentiment add fun. Good luck with the DT call and thanks for joining in with our underwater challenge at TMR
