After all I am a cat person, but hey I like dogs and I have friends and family that have dogs. I wanted to use this special addition stamp set that Newton's Nook made for Stamptember at Simon Says Stamp a few years back.
Even more exciting is we have an awesome sponsor today!!

Yay!! Today is the first challenge for 2022 over at Cupcake Inspirations!! The challenge where a delicious cupcake will inspire your creations.
Today's challenge is always a crowd fav. Coffee-tea time. Which are you? Coffee or tea? Me? I am a tea drinker. It is what gets my heart started in the morning and it is how I end my day. I probably drink 3-4 cups a day. But, I do love the occasional latte from Starbucks. To me that is a treat.
How about some musical inspiration? I love this fun song by Kelsey Musgraves.
You have two weeks to play along with out "coffee-tea time" challenge at Cupcake Inspirations. Also, check out our CI FB page and join if you haven't already.
Christmas will be quite interesting this year with our two rugrats. While they are full grown physically they are still kittens mentally and are going through their terrible twos! I am not sure we can even decorate the tree this year, Miss Pixie will be climbing the tree and knocking everything off. Any cat owners have some advice, other then forgoing the tree this year.
They look so innocent, don't they? Don't be fooled by those sweet faces!!
I am sadden to say that this will be the last challenge at The Rainbow Card Challenge. We have had a good run, but all good things must end. I hope that you will give us a rousing farewell and play along with our festive rainbow challenge.
OK folks, Valentine's day is creeping up. Let's get going. You don't have much time left to share the love!!
CAS on Friday has a challenge to get you in the mood:
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE
This surely has to get you in the mood!
My card today is the card I massed-produced for my staff. I give them cards three times a year. Thanksgiving, Christmas and Valentine's day, to show my appreciation of everything they do. today's card features the "Pawsome Love" set from Simon Says Stamp.
You have two weeks to play along with us at CAS on Friday with our "love" challenge.
Yet another Valentine card to share with you. Something old, some new, and something.... mauve? Today starts a new color challenge at The Rainbow Card Challenge.
We are asking to use "mostly mauve". Mauve is a hard color to figure out. It's a pale purpley color. Looks more pinkish rose to me.
I didn't even bother to look for songs with mauve in the title, if we cant figure out exactly what color it is, we really can't write a song about it huh? So today's musical inspiration is one of my top 10 most romantic songs out there.
A Thousand Years by Christine Perri
You have all month to play along with our intriguing mauve challenge at The Rainbow Card Challenge. And I would love to know what your favorite love song is?
Sympathy cards, aren't they the hardest cards to make? A card just doesn't seem like enough when someone suffers a loss of a love one. But you know what they do make a difference. I know they made me feel better when my brother died last year. (It's hard to believe that it is just about a year since my oldest brother Bill passed from esophageal cancer.)
Today, we start a new challenge at Cupcake Inspirations. Its a sophisticated color challenge.
Doesn't adding gold make everything classy?
Today's card features a the daisy stencil from Simon Says Stamp. Perfect for a quick and easy card. You can just as easily swap the the sympathy sentiment for a get well of thank you or birthday. So versatile.
You have two weeks to play along at Cupcake Inspirations for our classic color challenge.
Sooooo..... musical inspiration.... I usually go with the color theme, but for this month, I want to go with some holiday and festive. My video inspiration will make you chuckle. It is keeping with my card theme.
You have all month to play along with our holiday rainbow challenge at The Rainbow Card Challenge. Hope you get your rainbow on and join us.
