Merry Elves

Rainbow Christmas?!!? All I can say if Lauren Bassen can do it, so can I!! Rainbows make such a cheery and festive holiday card, dontcha think?

The Rainbow Card Challenge wants you to put your holiday rainbow on and create a fun, colorful and festive card.

My colorful and festive card features a well inked stamp set that my bestie gave to me in one of her purges. The merry rainbow is Simon Says Stamp's "Coolest Yule"

Sooooo..... musical inspiration.... I usually go with the color theme, but for this month, I want to go with some holiday and festive. My video inspiration will make you chuckle. It is keeping with my card theme.

You have all month to play along with our holiday rainbow challenge at The Rainbow Card Challenge. Hope you get your rainbow on and join us.

Have a blessed Christmas!!

"Anything Goes" at Christmas 24 and DT call

Happy Hump Day everyone! Are you all ready for another challenge at the brand new challenge Christmas 24. Christmas 24 is a great way to get started on your Christmas cards for next year. Boy!! I am all about that!!

Also Jacqueline and Mynn are looking for a DT. If you are interested, all you have to do is paticipate in this "Anything Goes" and add DT after your name on your entry. The DT will be announced at the end of this month.

My card today features some old and something new. The sweet elf is from My Favorite Things. The sentiment is a new set from Ellen Hutson.

This "anything goes" challenge will run for 2 weeks. Come and play along and even throw your hat in the ring to be part of this fun Christmas challenge.

Who stole the star?

I haven't been the best blogger over the past month, only have been able to fulfill DT commitments.
This week I will share some of cards that I am sending out to friends and family.

I get bored easily so I usually make 4-5 designs. This card uses that AWESOME set by Lia Griffith. It was really hard to find and was always sold out. The trees are a Lawn Fawn set from last year. I had the idea as usual when I sleeping. It took a bit of tinkering and advice from hubby and a very cute card was created. No modesty here!!

While I was making this card, I ran out of ink on a copic marker for the first time. R35 coral. It is my favorite red. I was sooooo bummed. I had to finish up with R46 strong red. It just wasn't the same. I have had these copics for 4 years, I guess it was inevitable that one would run out. Have any of you run out of ink? Did you buy another pen or go for the reinkers? Me- I just want another pen. Santa- are ya listening- can you hook a "nice girl" up this year?!!?

I hope you get it and am enjoying a stress free holiday season, unlike me.

See you all soon!
